Gingerbread House

I wish you could hear the way Addy says Gingerbread. She says the g like ga and so the way she says it is just adorable. This was the Hill Family's first Gingerbread House. Can you tell I never have made one in my life? It's pretty ugly and actually difficult to put together. Our roof had a HUGE HOLE in it and candy kept falling into the crevice. Jackson, Addy, and Auntie Cadie helped. The kids decorated it. Addy is a grab and throw type of decorator and Jackson is much more picky. He wanted all the same kinds of candy in the same place and had a few meltdowns because Addy was just throwing them on the house. It might be the ugliest Gingerbread House ever but it was on display until after Christmas. It was fun and cheap entertainment for a night at home.
